Focus: using conversation prompts to encourage student-talk in the classroom
Thought tunnel (page 95, The Oral Language Book) or 'Conscience alley' is a drama activity that can be used to support students to develop characters during narrative writing. The technique can also be used to support students to explore a book character in more depth.
