One of the strategies we promote in The Oral Language Book is students generating questions as well as the teacher.

In 2018, Louise watched Tiana McNaughton from Mt Roskill Primary School in Auckland using 'Wheel decide' to support students to generate and answer questions during shared reading. You can create your own wheel, so it is a useful website.
