Supporting students to write in sentences and edit their writing
In this workshop, Louise will explore how sentences can be taught using explicit and engaging mini-lessons. Simple, compound and complex sentences will be broken down into manageable steps so that students achieve success and formatively assess their work. She will then review the writing lesson, and identify how these skills can be transferred into writing so that students can independently apply sentence skills in context and edit their writing.
